Rest API Integration

  1. Navigate to the Admin Panel -> Integrations panel. Click on "REST API Integrations".
  2. Click on the "Create Integration" button.
  3. Enter the following information in the fields:
  4. Application ID: 0fcc56e7-eee1-4834-b140-4970c943afcd
    • Learn User: The Blackboard User that will be used for all Rest API request. The permissions for this user will be used for Basic Authentication auth. Blackboard recommends creating a brand new user for this. We recommend assigning that user a System Administrator role, as that is the only role that can accomplish the calendar event creation/modification/deletion process without being enrolled in the course.
    • End User Access: Yes
    • Authorized To Act As User: Yes
  5. Click on "Submit".

Launching the Tool: By clicking on the "Courses" tab in the menu, students who have open evaluations will see a slide out panel showing open evaluations
